Restore a purchase
If you bought Toffee Plus and it isn’t showing, open Settings in Toffee and tap Restore purchases. On a new iPhone the welcome screen has Restore purchase too. It finds what was bought with the Apple Account you’re signed in with.
Manage or cancel a subscription
In Toffee’s Settings, tap Manage subscription — it shows while a subscription is renewing — or open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. If you cancel, nothing is deleted: every pet and log stays, and you can keep logging. Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Leave a household
Open the Pets tab and tap Leave household. Everything already on your iPhone stays as your own copy; it just stops syncing. If the household is yours, Manage sharing removes someone, and Stop sharing ends it for everyone — each person keeps what they have.
Reminders aren’t arriving
If Toffee’s Settings shows Turn on reminders, tap it. If notifications were turned off before, switch them back on for Toffee in the Settings app, under Notifications. A reminder that falls in your Quiet hours is held until they end, never skipped. And each pet’s profile has Remind me on this iPhone, which has to be on for that pet’s reminders to reach this iPhone.
Export your data
There’s no full export yet — no spreadsheet or backup file. With Toffee Plus, open a pet from the Pets tab and tap Prepare a report for a PDF of their weight, medications and visits, ready to save or share.
Turn off iCloud sync, or delete your data
In Toffee’s Settings, tap iCloud sync to stop syncing this iPhone. Everything stays on this iPhone and in iCloud. How to delete a pet, everything on your iPhone, or Toffee’s copy in iCloud is in the privacy policy.
Common questions
Is Toffee iPhone only?
Yes. It’s an iPhone app, and it needs iOS 17 or later.
Does it work for cats?
Yes. Toffee is for dogs and cats. Cats get their own routine to start from — breakfast, dinner and the litter tray — and their own mascots.
Does my partner need to pay?
No. With Toffee Plus you invite the people you live with, and they join free, with everything the household has.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Every pet, reminder and log stays, and you can keep logging. You can’t add a pet past 2 or invite anyone new, History older than 30 days is dimmed until you come back, iCloud sync pauses, and the weight chart and vet report wait for you.
Do I need an account?
No. There’s nothing to sign up for. If you turn on iCloud sync, it uses the Apple Account already on your iPhone.
Where is my data?
On your iPhone. With iCloud sync on, a copy goes to your own iCloud — not to a server of ours — and we can’t read it.
Can I export my data?
Not as a spreadsheet or a backup file. The vet report is a PDF you can save or share, and with iCloud sync your data is also in your own iCloud.
What does the photo match do with my photo?
It looks at it on your iPhone, suggests the closest drawing, and deletes it. Nothing is uploaded or kept.
Does it work with Siri?
Yes. Say “Log breakfast in Toffee” or “What’s left in Toffee?” — it answers without opening the app.
